Savannah Ekis works as a graphic designer, manages creative and digital content. She specializes in layout, but has experience in multiple suites of Adobe such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. Savannah works efficiently and is continuing to grow more knowledgeable and skillful from quickly learning planet press, word press, and other suites of Adobe.
Savannah grew up in Phelan, California, where her original goal was to become a fine artist. However, after receiving a full-ride scholarship to play volleyball at Central Arizona Community College in Coolidge, Arizona, she found a passion for Graphic Design as well. During her two years at Central, one of her pieces took first place in the school’s art contest, and other works were selected to be showcased around the campus in 2015 – 2017. Savannah enjoys working with different mediums such as oils, watercolor, acrylics, charcoal, ink, clay, and of course digital content.
At the end of her second year at Central, she was recruited a second time to play volleyball at Benedictine University in Mesa, Arizona, where she continued her graphic design degree. During her first year, she served as the graphic design director for the student magazine, Fall 2017 edition.
In the beginning of 2018, Savannah graduated from Benedictine University with her Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. In the summer, she took on an intern graphic design position at the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, which led her to connecting with Keith and Peggy at the Market Builder, Inc.
Throughout the fifteen years of her volleyball career, not only did Savannah receive awards such as, first and second team all-league, player of the game, and player of the month, but she also was involved in many community service projects such as hosting volleyball clinics for younger athletes, volunteering at marathon races for breast cancer awareness, and volunteering to help clean up effected areas after weather damages in Wrightwood, California.
